President Murmu Champions Tribal Empowerment at Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan Conclave
On October 17, 2025, President Droupadi Murmu addressed the National Conclave on the 'Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan' at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi. The conclave focused on 'Tribal Village Vision 2030' and aimed to empower tribal communities through participatory governance and inclusive development.
In her address, President Murmu highlighted the government's commitment to ensuring that the benefits of development reach all tribal areas and people. She emphasized that the real progress of the nation lies in the development of all sections of society, particularly the tribal communities. The President expressed confidence that the Tribal Action Framework would play a vital role in the development of tribal people and the country.
During the event, President Murmu presented awards to the best-performing states, districts, blocks, and Integrated Tribal Development Agencies for their exemplary work in implementing the Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan. These awards recognized the efforts of various regions in promoting self-reliant and proud tribal villages, aligning with the mission's objectives.
The conclave also served as a platform to discuss strategies for strengthening the spirit of public participation by empowering Gram Sabhas and community-led institutions. President Murmu noted that through meaningful participation of tribal society, national policies can be influenced, and schemes can be made more effective, ensuring that the development journey includes every tribal community.
